Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anstey throws a head kick but Söderlund moves out of range.
Anstey feints and then cracks Söderlund's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Söderlund down.
A shot to the liver by Anstey. Beautiful body shot.
Anstey lunges at Söderlund with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Söderlund's hand.
Anstey closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Anstey just misses with a punch to the body.
Söderlund tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Anstey tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Anstey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Söderlund bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anstey's guard.

Anstey has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Söderlund can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Anstey is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Söderlund is looking to work some ground and pound but Anstey has wrist control.

Söderlund looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Anstey will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Anstey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Söderlund takes a swing at Anstey's ribcage but misses.
Söderlund swats away the attempt to clinch by Anstey.
Söderlund lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Anstey tries to land a front kick but Söderlund steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Söderlund throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Anstey unleashes a big counter combination but Söderlund bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Anstey.

Anstey looks up at the clock and then as Söderlund takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Anstey smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Söderlund is trying to get back to half guard.

Corwin Anstey dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Anstey closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Söderlund to the mat! Söderlund manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anstey lands a couple of elbows.
Söderlund is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Anstey rolls with it to try and escape but Söderlund cranks on the arm and Anstey is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

A relieved looking Mats Söderlund thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
