The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campos moves out of range as Lucassen strikes.
Campos throwing a counter right hand but Lucassen manages to avoid it.
Campos swings away with a body shot that misses
and Lucassen counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Lucas Campos has been cut.
Lucassen throws a hook but Campos avoids it easily.
Campos throws a sloppy head kick and Lucassen moves out of range easily.
Campos closes the distance but Lucassen moves to the side
and Lucassen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Campos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lucassen counters with a nice uppercut.
Good standup being displayed there by Lucassen as he connects with a hook.
Lucassen circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lucassen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Campos thinking.
Lucassen connects with a looping right hand.
Campos takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lucas Campos's cut is getting worse.

Campos drives through and clinches with Lucassen against the cage.
Campos misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Campos tries to pull guard but Lucassen holds him up against the cage and eventually Campos drops back down to his feet.

Lucassen manages to break the clinch.
Campos missing with a left hand there. Lucassen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

letting Lucassen counter with a right hand.
Lucassen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Campos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Campos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Lucassen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Lucassen counters with a nice right hand that sends Campos toppling to the canvas! Campos scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Lucassen finish him?!
