Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rock Chuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aaron Rodgers is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rock Chuck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Rodgers! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodgers fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Chuck to the ground. Rodgers is now in Chuck's guard. Chuck preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Chuck is trying to keep Rodgers in close.
Rodgers throwing strikes from guard but Chuck blocks nicely. Chuck lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Chuck is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rodgers is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rodgers has escaped and now he's on top! Rodgers trying to control but Chuck is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rodgers looking to sit in guard and control but Chuck gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Chuck throws a big right hand that misses. Rodgers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chuck's guard.
Rodgers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chuck. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chuck is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Chuck missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Chuck has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chuck working Rodgers over with strikes.

Chuck seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Chuck is working for a kimura but Rodgers is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chuck not landing any meaningful shots this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rock Chuck dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A little jabbing left from Rodgers on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Rodgers takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Chuck looks to land a combination but Rodgers avoids it well. Rock Chuck is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Chuck lands with a slapping head kick. Chuck throws a head kick that misses and Rodgers counters with a series of strikes. Chuck will be more careful next time no doubt. Chuck on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Chuck jabs at Rodgers's body. Rodgers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chuck paws at him with a jab and circles away. Chuck ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rodgers moves away. A slow jab from Chuck misses its intended target. Chuck misses with an uppercut.

Rock Chuck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rodgers shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Chuck eats them both and turns towards Rodgers to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Chuck sizes up Rodgers with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Chuck swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Rodgers is staying active underneath Chuck, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Chuck is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rodgers sees it coming and defends easily. Still in half guard, Chuck seems content to control.

Rock Chuck dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Rodgers gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Chuck is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chuck in particular looking to stall. Chuck's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Aaron Rodgers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
