Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Thrasher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil The Phantom!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thrasher stuns The Phantom with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The Phantom tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Bruce Thrasher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thrasher lands with a straight right. The Phantom didn't see that one coming.

The Phantom stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thrasher swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The Phantom is working Thrasher over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
