Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manny Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomi Pozsar! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pozsar stalks Stone and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stone's face. Stone staggers backwards, shaken. Pozsar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pozsar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Pozsar looks to land a combination. Stone sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Stone ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Stone dodges the punch combination from Pozsar.
A left and a right from Pozsar both land. Nice combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pozsar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Pozsar throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease. Stone appears to be looking for a counter takedown. We've been hearing reports that Stone has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Stone scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pozsar doesn't seem bothered though. Pozsar swings away with a leg kick that misses. A thudding body kick lands there by Pozsar!

That's one minute gone in the round. Pozsar motions for Stone to come forward. Pozsar throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Stone checks a low kick from Pozsar. Pozsar throws a right and a left that both miss. Stone tries to counter with a takedown but Pozsar is quick to defend against it. Pozsar throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease. Pozsar throws a leg kick and Stone counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Stone moves into full mount! Pozsar won't be happy about that! Stone in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Stone cracks Pozsar with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Stone looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stone seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pozsar for as long as he can get away with. Stone's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pozsar can do anything to dispel that myth. Pozsar really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone is in the full mount, landing strikes. Pozsar defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Stone. Pozsar is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone is in the full mount, landing strikes. Pozsar keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Stone controlling the pace for now. Stone putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Stone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Stone dominating with strikes here. Stone controlling the position easily from mount. Stone trying to control but Pozsar is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone controlling his opponent. Stone lands with some strikes. Pozsar tries to hold on but Stone postures up. Pozsar is trying desperately to improve position. Stone postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pozsar looks a forlorn figure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pozsar tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manny Stone dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Stone dives in for a single leg takedown but Pozsar sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Tomi Pozsar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stone lands a head kick. Pozsar smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Tomi Pozsar seems to be getting the better of the standup. Pozsar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pozsar lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stone tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Stone waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Pozsar. Pozsar scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Stone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pozsar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A punch combination from Pozsar misses. Stone throws a wild body kick that Pozsar sees coming a mile off. Pozsar moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Pozsar throws a head kick but Stone moves out of range.

Tomi Pozsar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pozsar swinging wildly here.

Stone tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pozsar defends well and Stone ends up having to push Pozsar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Pozsar unleashes a big counter combination but Stone bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Pozsar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stone moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pozsar looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Stone jabs Pozsar right on the nose. Pozsar blinks but takes it well. Stone scores with a leg kick.

and Stone decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pozsar's guard. Stone works a leg free and moves into half guard. Stone seems to be looking for submissions.
Stone is trying to control. Pozsar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pozsar looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Stone pushes past his half guard into mount! Stone working away from the top, dropping strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stone breaks from Pozsar's wrist control and lands an elbow. Pozsar tries to get back to half guard but can't. Manny Stone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stone lands a big elbow. Stone sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Stone postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pozsar looks a forlorn figure.
Pozsar is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stone breaks from Pozsar's wrist control and lands an elbow. Pozsar is still in real trouble! Can Stone finish him?

Pozsar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stone postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Pozsar in real trouble here! The ref calls for Pozsar to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Manny Stone! After winning the bout, Manny Stone thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
