Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lucky Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yas Uru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucky Day! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yas Uru! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uru misses with a few strikes there.
Day throws out a powerful jab. Day throws a jab when Uru was well out of range. Lucky Day seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Day misses with a hook
and Uru counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A slow jab from Day misses its intended target. Uru avoids the body shot from Day.
Day takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Day rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Uru counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Day misses with a hook. Uru ducked under it nicely. Day jabs Uru right on the nose. Uru blinks but takes it well. Day misses with a lunging right hand
and Uru counters with a good, hard body kick but Day shrugs it off. Uru throws a body kick that misses.

and Uru counters with a nice uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Day misses with a body punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Day misses the jab. A big left from Day misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Day. Day misses with a body shot
and Uru counters with a stiff right hand. Day has his takedown stuffed and Uru counters with a flying knee. Nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheers as Uru lands an impressive looking overhand right. Day doesn't seem phased though.
Day is rocked! Uru misses with a kick to the body.
Day connects with a right hand. Uru shakes it off. Day clobbers Uru with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Uru bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. As Day backs off Uru throws a huge counter combo but Day manages to avoid it all. Day misses with a jab to the body
and Uru counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Day changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uru tries to avoid it but Day manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uru to the ground. Uru escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Uru feints a counter leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucky Day. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed right hand from Uru misses the target. Day shoots in looking for a takedown but Uru manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Day's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Uru throws out a counter right but Day avoids it with no problem. Day misses with an uppercut. Uru misses with an uppercut. Day saw that one coming. Yas Uru is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Day throws a big shot that misses. It seemed like Uru was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Uru on the wrong end of a nice hook. Day throws a combination. Uru tries to block but a couple of punches get through. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Day throws a lazy uppercut
and Uru counters with a straight right hand. Day throws a lazy right hand but Uru sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Uru throws out a counter right but Day avoids it with no problem. Uru lands a jab to the nose. Day throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Uru counters with a good low kick that Day was not able to check. Day throws a right hand that misses
letting Uru counter with a right hand. Day shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Uru eats them both and turns towards Day to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Uru uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Day.
Day scores with a sloppy right hand. Uru should have avoided that one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yas Uru dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice defenses there by Uru. Day throws a body shot but no joy. Uru only half commits to the counter leg kick. Day misses with a series of wild punches.
Day swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Uru counters with a nice leg kick. Day thows a left - swing and a miss! Day with a poor takedown and Uru connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Day misses with an uppercut. Uru saw that one coming. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Day might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uru moves out of range of the strikes. A little jabbing left from Uru on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Day swings and misses with a shot to the body and Uru counters with an outside leg kick.
Uru misses with a looping right. Day lands a jab. Uru has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uru staying out of range there. Day misses with an uppercut. Uru slaps away a takedown attempt from Day, before circling back to the center of the mat. Day is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Uru. And Uru responds with a good body kick, but Day manages to step out the way in time. Yas Uru seems to be getting the better of the standup. Day connects with a single shot there. Uru ducks under a wild hook from Day. Uru takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Day comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Day swings away with a body shot that misses
and Uru cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Day fails with the takedown and Uru counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucky Day. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Day throws out a loose jab but Uru uses good head movement to avoid it. Uru is trying to counter with his kicks. Uru looks to throw the jab but Day is out of range. Day misses with a right hand and Uru counters with an inside leg kick. Uru ducks under a wild hook from Day. Uru is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice jab there from Uru. Day gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Uru counters with a lovely straight right hand!

He's got his arms around Uru's waist but Uru gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Day off to one side. Uru unleashes a big counter combination but Day bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Day just misses with a punch to the body.
Day scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Uru avoids a punch combination nicely.

Day lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Day misses with a left hand and Uru counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Day misses with a wild body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uru connects with a solid leg kick. Uru slips a jab and a cross from Day.
Uru flicks out a counter leg kick but Day steps away. Day misses the body punch and Uru counters with a slapping leg kick. Day lands a jab-cross combination. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Day takes a swing at Uru's ribcage but misses. Day throws a looping overhand right but Uru ducks down to avoid it. Day throws a left and a right that both miss
and Uru counters with an inside leg kick. Uru drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Day misses with a lunging right hand
and Uru counters with a thumping low kick. Day misses with a left hand and Uru cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Uru walks into a left hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Lucky Day will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

and Uru counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Uru dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Day. That did some damage! Day throws a lazy right hand but Uru sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Uru lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A cross from Day lands. Day tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Uru was well out of range. Poor timing from Day. Day misses with a lunging right hand
and Uru counters with a lovely straight right hand! Day looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Day finds it's way through Uru's defenses. Day is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Day's jab looks to have found its range, popping Uru under the eye. Uru takes one to the chin there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uru stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Uru wants it to stay on the feet. Day misses with a combination
and Uru counters with a lovely straight right hand! Uru throws a hook but Day avoids it easily. Uru scoring well with a low kick there.
Day throws a series of punches but Uru moves out of range. Uru thinks about the counter body kick. Day swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Uru counters with a low kick, right behind Day 's knee. Day throws a jab when Uru was well out of range. Uru steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Day throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Day throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Uru counters with an inside leg kick. Day stuns Uru with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Day jabbing away but nothing is landing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Day throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Uru connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Uru uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Day. Day misses with a right hand and Uru cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Uru shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Day misses the target. Day throws a hook to the side of Uru's head but Uru sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Day falls off balance throwing a combination
and Uru makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Day really felt that one! A jab from Day misses. Uru moves out of range as Day strikes. Uru moves out of range of the strikes. Uru replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Day blocks it well. Uru keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Uru throws a push kick but Day slaps the foot to one side. Day slips a jab from Uru. Day scores with a sloppy right hand. Uru should have avoided that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Day misses with an uppercut
and Uru counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Day displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Day misses with a right hand and Uru counters with a good, hard body kick but Day shrugs it off. Uru lands a nice leg kick that just misses Day's sensitive parts. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Day displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Uru throws out the jab. Day throws an off balance right hand
and Uru counters with a good low kick that Day was not able to check. Day shoots for a takedown but Uru saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Uru raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Day misses with a hook
letting Uru counter with a right hand. Uru misses with an attempted mid kick.
Day throws an off balance right hand
and Uru counters with a one-two to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Yas Uru comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Uru has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Yas Uru! A very excited looking Yas Uru rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
