Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Carthew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viorel Furnica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furnica avoids the head kick by Carthew.

Furnica wants to pass to mount but Carthew is defending the position.
Furnica thows a huge punch but Carthew dodges it nicely.
Furnica looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Carthew with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Furnica looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Furnica drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Carthew throws a low kick but it's checked well by Furnica.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Furnica can do anything to dispel that myth.

Furnica is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Carthew asserts his dominance and retains side control.
