Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders comes to the cage accompanied by Born in the USA. Fadden is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hate Song by THE HAUNTED. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruce Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 2, fighting out of New York, John Fadden!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fadden ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nice cross by Sanders.
Sanders loads up on a big right hand but Fadden slips the punch.
Sanders on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Fadden dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sanders avoids the head kick by Fadden.
Fadden catches Sanders with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Sanders throws a front kick aimed at Fadden's knee but Fadden avoids it well.
A big right from Sanders misses.
Fadden looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
John Fadden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sanders cracks Fadden with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've been told by Sanders's head coaches at LOD London Top Tier that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Fadden takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sanders fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Sanders dives in for a single leg takedown but Fadden sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Fadden uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sanders.
Sanders throws a series of punches but Fadden avoids them all with ease.
Sanders throws out a loose jab but Fadden uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fadden wants to counter with a clinch but Sanders pushes him away.
Fadden connects with a crisp jab.
Sanders throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fadden sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bruce Sanders will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sanders takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sanders scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fadden in his tracks.
Fadden scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


Sanders is rocked!

Oh Sanders is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fadden thuds a left hand into Sanders's body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fadden lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Sanders up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Fadden from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Sanders's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
