Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basov shoots in for a takedown but Aldo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Basov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Aldo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Basov is in Aldo's guard.
Aldo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Basov prevents Aldo from getting back to his feet.

It looks like Basov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Aldo seems to have got his legs back now.
Basov cracks Aldo with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Basov immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Aldo is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Basov!
