Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shit Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Face's entrance music is Blue clear sky. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hansen's choice of entrance music: AC/DC - Big Gun. Shit Face has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Shit Face!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tim Hansen!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face staying out of range there.
Face looks for a takedown but Hansen sprawls well.
Hansen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Face appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Face shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hansen's guard.
Face pushing down on Hansen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Face is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hansen sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Face prevents Hansen from standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Face is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hansen is just riding it out for now. Face eventually gives up the hold.

Face is working for a kimura but Hansen is defending it quite comfortably.

Hansen wants to improve his position but Face is controlling well.
Hansen is staying active underneath Face, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Hansen is trying to stand back up but Face is controlling him
Face is just content to waste time from the top position. Hansen takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Face wants to control from the top but Hansen keeps moving.

Hansen manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Hansen is working for takedown but Face is calmly controlling the position for now.

Hansen turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Face is trying to control Hansen's posture but Hansen avoids it.
Face is looking to get back to his feet here but Hansen is keeping cool and he's managed to take Face's back.
Hansen is riding his opponent, not letting Face buck him off.

Face bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hansen's guard.

Face wants to control from the top but Hansen keeps moving.
Face looking to sit in guard and control but Hansen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hansen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hansen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Face has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hansen has managed to get both his arms back between Face's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hansen wants to control from the top but Face keeps moving.

Face can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hansen controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Hansen tries to bum rush Face with a series of wild strikes but Face uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hansen feints a jab promting Face to slip. Hansen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Face slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hansen throws a series of punches but Face moves out of range.
Face appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
The fighters circling - Hansen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hansen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Face blocks a head kick by Hansen.
Face attempts a counter takedown but Hansen avoids it well and moves away.
Hansen tests Face's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Some wild striking there from Hansen.
Face appears to be looking for a big counter.
Tim Hansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hansen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Face has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Face and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hansen throws a series of punches but Face avoids them all with ease.

Face swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Hansen tries a head kick but it misses.

Face moves into range and clinches up with Hansen.
Hansen wants to break the clinch but can't.

Hansen goes for a takedown attempt but Face pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Face looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hansen!

Face looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hansen is avoiding damage well.

Hansen's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Face looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Face is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hansen to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hansen shrugs it off.
Hansen is bucking up trying to escape but Face cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Face moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hansen has worked his arm free - good work by Hansen!

Face wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hansen, who protects the arm well.
