The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Vega misses with a hook. Orkidea ducked under it nicely.
Orkidea looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
De Vega lands with a straight right. Orkidea didn't see that one coming.
De Vega lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Olof Orkidea has been cut.
Orkidea tries to land a leg kick but De Vega saw it coming and moves away.
De Vega attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
De Vega lands with a shot to the body.

De Vega fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Orkidea checks it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Vega fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Orkidea looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Olof Orkidea is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

De Vega ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Orkidea moves away.

De Vega stuns Orkidea with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

De Vega stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
De Vega thows a body kick. Orkidea tries to catch it but that hurt him.

It seemed like De Vega was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Orkidea blocks a jab.
De Vega throws a looping overhand right but Orkidea ducks down to avoid it.
Escobar De Vega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Orkidea takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
De Vega feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Orkidea's calf.
Orkidea tries to score with a low kick but De Vega moves his leg out of the way.

De Vega knocks out Orkidea with a massive right hand! The ref tackles De Vega before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. De Vega picks up the big W with a huge KO!
