Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Walter Flanagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flanagan comes to the cage accompanied by The Wizard . Weber comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hamburg Anthem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Walter Flanagan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Leon Weber! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flanagan misses with a wild body shot. Weber is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Weber misses with a body shot.

and Weber counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Weber throws a head kick but Flanagan moves out of range.
Flanagan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Weber was well out of range. Poor timing from Flanagan. Weber moves out of range of the strikes. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Weber has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flanagan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Walter Flanagan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weber moves out of range as Flanagan strikes. As Flanagan backs off Weber throws a huge counter combo but Flanagan manages to avoid it all. Weber fails with the takedown. Flanagan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Flanagan keeping moving, preventing Weber from controlling successfully. Weber slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Flanagan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Weber controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Weber is looking to work some ground and pound but Flanagan has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weber pushes down on Flanagan's leg and manages to get into half guard. Weber looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Weber not landing any meaningful shots this time. Weber thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Weber content to control rather than advance. Weber is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Flanagan is not content to let Weber control the position. Weber stops Flanagan from getting back to his feet.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Weber trying to control the action but Flanagan is working from the bottom. Flanagan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Weber on the ground. Weber throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He has the arm isolated but Flanagan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Walter Flanagan will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Weber in particular looking to stall. Weber is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Flanagan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Weber.
