Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Angel Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ste Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones wants to clinch but Powers slips to the side
and Powers counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Powers.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Powers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Powers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
