Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lorne Greenebaum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 2, fighting out of London, Lorne Greenebaum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Cooper! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Greenebaum keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Greenebaum drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cooper sprawls and moves away. Cooper fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Greenebaum shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cooper as he jumps to the side. Greenebaum uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cooper.
Greenebaum takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Cooper loads up on a big right hand but Greenebaum slips the punch. Greenebaum lands with a thumping leg kick.
Cooper throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Greenebaum on the side of the head. Nice defenses there by Cooper. Cooper throws a series of strikes that have Greenebaum backpedaling.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cooper misses with a two punch combination.
Greenebaum closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cooper's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Greenebaum postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cooper manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greenebaum has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cooper is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Greenebaum keeps control of Cooper as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cooper fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Greenebaum goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cooper prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lorne Greenebaum. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cooper can't find room to land a body shot as Greenebaum controls the action.
Cooper tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Greenebaum dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Greenebaum is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Greenebaum keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cooper's efforts to push away. Greenebaum drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cooper pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cooper looks to throw the jab but Greenebaum is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Greenebaum looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cooper checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Despite the aggression on Cooper's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Cooper misses with a series of wild punches.
Cooper leaves Greenebaum with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cooper gets caught napping as Greenebaum dives in and scores a takedown. Cooper manages to retain guard. Greenebaum trying to control the position from guard on top but Cooper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cooper utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Greenebaum pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cooper is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooper wants to get back to his feet but Greenebaum is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Cooper is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Greenebaum dives into side control.
Cooper is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Greenebaum looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Cooper is avoiding damage well.
Greenebaum scoring with punches from side control. Greenebaum swings around for an armbar but Cooper sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Greenebaum's guard. Greenebaum is looking for a triangle but Cooper pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Greenebaum is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Greenebaum looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cooper is one step ahead there. Greenebaum throws his legs up looking for a submission but Cooper uses it to pass to side control.
Greenebaum is looking to reverse the position. Cooper working the strikes but Greenebaum uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Greenebaum has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Greenebaum is looking for a sweep. Cooper is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Cooper dominated that round. That's time! Greenebaum's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Greenebaum shoots for a takedown but Cooper saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Greenebaum throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cooper tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Greenebaum is in Cooper's guard. Cooper is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cooper has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Cooper keeping moving, preventing Greenebaum from controlling successfully. Cooper is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. We've been hearing good reports from Greenebaum's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Greenebaum stands up over Cooper, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Greenebaum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Greenebaum wants to control from the top but Cooper keeps moving.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. John Cooper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Greenebaum shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cooper as he jumps to the side. Cooper throws a series of punches but Greenebaum avoids them all with ease. Greenebaum throws a right and a left that both miss. Cooper throws a shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Greenebaum throws a shot from downtown. Cooper moves away and avoids it. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Greenebaum is defended easily by Cooper. Cooper tries to bum rush Greenebaum with a series of wild strikes but Greenebaum uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cooper scores with a nice right hand.
Greenebaum tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cooper sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Greenebaum somewhat. Cooper lunges at Greenebaum with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Greenebaum's hand. Cooper lands a two punch combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Greenebaum ducks right into an uppercut from Cooper. Cooper stuffs the takedown attempt from Greenebaum. Greenebaum gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooper works Greenebaum's body with a nice hook. Cooper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Greenebaum moves out of range and avoids them all easily. John Cooper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cooper throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Greenebaum shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. John Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Greenebaum moves out of range as Cooper strikes. John Cooper seems to be getting the better of the standup. A big right from Cooper misses. Greenebaum was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Cooper misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cooper lands with a straight right. Greenebaum didn't see that one coming. Cooper defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Greenebaum. Cooper slaps away a takedown attempt from Greenebaum, before circling back to the center of the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Greenebaum looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cooper is fending him off so far but Greenebaum persists. Nope, Cooper circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Greenebaum changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cooper tries to avoid it but Greenebaum manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cooper to the ground. Cooper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Cooper drops Greenebaum with a left and a right! Oh, Greenebaum is hurt - Cooper dives into side control looking to finish!
Greenebaum is rocked! Cooper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Greenebaum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cooper lands a strong strike to the head of Greenebaum. That's dazed him! Cooper looking to finish here. Greenebaum is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Cooper lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Cooper! A relieved looking John Cooper thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
