Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Nunez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Biante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce Biante will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Biante closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nunez did well to prevent Biante getting side control.

Nunez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Biante avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nunez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Biante wants to counter with a clinch but Nunez pushes him away.

Biante slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Biante is working Nunez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Nunez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Biante is one step ahead there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Biante. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Biante escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nunez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bruce Biante showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Biante ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nunez moves away.

and Biante counters with a left and a right that stings Nunez.
Biante pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nunez takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Biante!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Nunez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Biante defends well and Nunez ends up having to push Biante into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Biante looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Jesse Nunez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bruce Biante is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Biante throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nunez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Biante is in Nunez's guard.

Well Biante has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
