Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Troy Savano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sunny Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Troy Savano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sunny Day! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savano wants to clinch. Savano takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Savano lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Day circles away quickly and effectively. Day looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Savano moves out of range of the strikes. Savano went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Day fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Savano manages to avoid it. A shot to the liver by Day. Beautiful body shot. A jab lands there for Day. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Day misses with a wild combination.
Savano shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Savano was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Day tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day regains half guard. Day looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Day looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Day wants to improve his position but Savano is controlling well.
Savano controlling the action here. Savano is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Savano throwing shots but Day is blocking nicely. Day looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Day is not content to let Savano control the position. Day looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Savano is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Day defends it well. Day is refusing to be controlled, as Savano sits in half guard. Day actively working from the bottom here. Day wants to improve his position but Savano is controlling well.
Savano is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Day is just riding it out for now. Savano eventually gives up the hold. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Day is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Savano pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savano seems to be working for a kimura but Day defends the submission attempt. Savano looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Day actively working from the bottom here. Day looking for submissions off his back. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Savano connects with a nice short shot to Day's temple. Savano is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Day sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Savano throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Day is trying to get back to full guard. Savano slips a nice elbow through Day's hands, connecting with Day's forehead. Day looking for submissions off his back. Savano is looking for a kimura but Day is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Savano to get the leverage. Savano is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Day sees it coming and defends easily. Day is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Savano pulls his head out easily. Savano is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Day is just riding it out for now. Savano eventually gives up the hold. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Savano tries to stand but can't do so whilst Day controls his leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Day counters with a left and a right that stings Savano. Day lands a body shot.
Savano misses with a takedown attempt and Day counters with a lovely straight right hand! Savano throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Day misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Day moves out of range as Savano strikes. Day scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A swing and a miss from Day. Day getting the better of the striking in that exchange. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Day moves out of range of the strikes. Day lands a jab to the head.
Day slaps away a takedown attempt from Savano, before circling back to the center of the mat. Savano doesn't succeed with the takedown and Day counters with a nice body shot. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Troy Savano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day lands a slapping body shot.
Day missing with a left hand there. Savano was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Savano takes a shot right to the bread basket. Day throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Savano misses with a takedown attempt - Day sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Day looks like he wants to counter punch here. Day lands a glancing blow to the side of Savano's head. Savano needs to keep his hands up - Day had a free shot at his head there. Day lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Savano at a distance.
Day misses with a looping left. Sunny Day is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Day scores with a jab to the body. Troy Savano is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Day digs a good body shot into Savano's ribs. Day scores with a hook to the body. Savano takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Day lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Day connects with a body shot. Savano throws a head kick that misses. Day swings away with a body shot that misses
and Savano counters with a straight right hand. Savano keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Day fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Day uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Savano has time to react. Day lands a jab to the head.
Day slips under a jab. Day throws a jab but it's blocked by Savano. Savano tries to counter with a takedown but Day is quick to defend against it. Savano looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Nice uppercut there from Day. Day lands a lovely overhand right. Savano looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savano walks into a left hand.
Savano is rocked! and Day counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Savano! He's just covering up as Day starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sunny Day! A relieved looking Sunny Day thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
