1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lyndon Perez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Routh! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Routh swats him away and circles back towards the center. No joy there for Perez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Perez drops down looking for a counter takedown but Routh sprawls and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Routh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
It looked like Perez was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Perez moves into the clinch. Routh has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Perez gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Routh is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Perez presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Routh is trying to force a seperation but Perez has the dominant position. Perez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Perez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Routh prevents it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Routh is trying to break the clinch but Perez is controlling him. Perez has Routh pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Perez pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Routh tumbling to the mat - Perez dives into Routh's guard. Routh scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Routh is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Routh can't break the clinch.

Routh is trying to push Perez away but Perez has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Routh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Perez instigates a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Routh gets underhooks to prevent Perez's takedown attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lyndon Perez will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Perez is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Routh can do to turn this around? Perez wants to take the fight to the mat but Routh manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Perez tries to score a body lock takedown but Routh shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Routh wants to break the clinch but can't.

And that's the end of the fight! Lyndon Perez showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Perez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
