Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Wu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Charlie Wu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Quincy! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quincy closes the distance looking to clinch and Wu counters with a stiff right hand. Quincy has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Quincy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wu paws at him with a jab and circles away. Quincy tries to clinch up but Wu circles away and keeps his distance. Wu keeps the fight on the outside. Wu is looking to counter punch. Quincy moves into the clinch. Wu takes a shot to the head. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Wu. Quincy displaying some good clinch control by pressing Wu up against the cage. Quincy has Wu pushed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu manages to break the clinch.
Quincy darts in and clinches Wu up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quincy scores with an uppercut up the middle. Quincy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wus head. Quincy gets underhooks to prevent Wu's takedown attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wu has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Quincy after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Wu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Quincy walks away with a smile on his face. Wu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Quincy tries to close the distance and clinch but Wu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wu half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Quincy tries to clinch but Wu is having none of it. Quincy tries to clinch but Wu moves out of range. Quincy tries to clinch but Wu moves out of range. Wu connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Quincy fails in his attempt to clinch. Quincy tries to clinch there but Wu circles away.

Michael Quincy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Quincy tries to clinch up but Wu circles away and keeps his distance. It looked like Wu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Quincy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wu swats him away and circles back towards the center. Quincy clinches up with Wu and pushes him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wu trying to control the position but instead, Quincy has worked for underhooks and has pushed Wu into the cage. Quincy lands with a short shot to the head. Wu letting Quincy take a breather here. Wu throws a head punch that misses. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Quincy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Quincy prevents a takedown attempt there.
Quincy misses with an elbow over the top. Quincy lands a hook that snaps the head of Wu backwards. Quincy pressing his opponent against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Quincy.
Quincy continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quincy fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Wu manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Quincy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Quincy is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Wu is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wu lands with a heel strike from the guard.

A close round but Michael Quincy will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Quincy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wu swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Quincy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wu swats him away and circles back towards the center. Quincy is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wu tries to bum rush Quincy with a series of wild strikes but Quincy uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Michael Quincy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Quincy wants to clinch and Wu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Wu keeps the fight on the outside. Wu dives in and scores a takedown into Quincy's guard. Quincy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wu sitting in guard, not really doing much. Quincy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Quincy tries to clinch up but Wu circles away and keeps his distance. Quincy tries to close the distance and clinch but Wu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A little feinted left hand from Wu on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Quincy doesn't manage to clinch there - Wu circles away.

Quincy scores with a shoulder strike. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Quincy as Wu tries to tie him up. Wu is trying to pull guard but Quincy turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Wu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Quincy presses Wu against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wu stalling in the clinch but Quincy improves position. Quincy misses with a hook from the clinch. Quincy working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Wu tries to score a body lock takedown but Quincy shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Quincy content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Quincy scores with a nice hook to the head. Quincy throws a punch but it's blocked by Wu. A short right from Quincy. A head punch on the inside from Quincy fails to land. Quincy lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Wu backwards. Quincy lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Quincy gets through Wu's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Wu is rocked! A nice right hand lands inside from Quincy. Oh Wu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Quincy unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Wu! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Quincy is unloading with more strikes now! Wu drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Quincy! A very excited looking Michael Quincy rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
