Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Cake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Od Bulerk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cake is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The key to victory for Jake Cake has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jake Cake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Od Bulerk! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bulerk shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cake as he jumps to the side. Bulerk avoids the head kick by Cake.
Cake is breathing heavily. Bulerk dives in for a single leg takedown but Cake sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Cake is looking to counter punch. Bulerk misses with a kick to the body.
Cake is looking to counter the offense by Bulerk and move into the clinch. Cake stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cake wants it to stay on the feet. Cake was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Jake Cake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Od Bulerk. Nice sprawl there from Cake as Bulerk shoots in. Bulerk shoots in looking for a takedown but Cake manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bulerk's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bulerk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cake tries to clinch up but Bulerk circles away and keeps his distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bulerk drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Cake is looking to stand back up but Bulerk counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Cake. Cake gets back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bulerk is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Bulerk postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bulerk engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Let's hope that Bulerk has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bulerk tries to free his leg and advance position but Cake is retaining full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bulerk is stalling in the full guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bulerk tries to clinch but Cake moves out of range. Bulerk rushes Cake and presses him up against the cage. Bulerk gets control of Cake's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bulerk will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Bulerk manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cake manages to get himself to full guard.
Bulerk stands up over Cake, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bulerk is in close to Cake's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bulerk slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bulerk gets to his feet. Cake looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Bulerk shoots for a takedown but Cake saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Cake throwing a counter right hand but Bulerk manages to avoid it. Bulerk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cake sprawls well initially but Bulerk persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bulerk lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bulerk prevents Cake from standing back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bulerk with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Od Bulerk dominated that round. That's time! Cake's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bulerk throws a wild body kick that Cake sees coming a mile off. Bulerk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cake paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bulerk throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cake was covering up waiting for the punch and Bulerk finishes the takedown easily into guard. Cake is working an open guard so Bulerk takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Cake circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bulerk fails to land the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bulerk moves in looking to clinch but Cake pushes him off. Cake fails with the takedown. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bulerk closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bulerk jumps guard but Cake turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Bulerk tries to pull guard but Cake won't allow it.
Jake Cake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Od Bulerk. Bulerk is trying to push Cake away but Cake has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bulerk is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cake is defending well. Cake really is a fat lump. Bulerk drags the fight down to the ground.
Bulerk trying to control the position here. Bulerk's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Cake trying to control the position from guard on top but Bulerk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bulerk is controlling Cake's posture. Bulerk wants to get back to his feet but Cake is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bulerk looking to sweep here. No luck so far. That's three minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bulerk. Bulerk gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bulerk tries to pull guard but Cake holds him up against the cage and eventually Bulerk drops back down to his feet.
Cake turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cake manages to end up in side control. Bulerk explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Cake tries a low kick but Bulerk avoids it. Bulerk is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cake sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Cake defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bulerk. Bulerk fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bulerk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cake is fending him off so far but Bulerk persists. Nope, Cake circles away and we're back to standing. Bulerk darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bulerk controlling the action here. Bulerk decides to stand and escape the position. Bulerk has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cake stuffs the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Od Bulerk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Bulerk lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Bulerk drops back looking for a leg! Cake is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cake manages to kick Bulerk off! Bulerk jumps back into Cake's guard. Bulerk slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bulerk tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bulerk has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Cake is looking for a sweep. Bulerk working the ground and pound. Bulerk is putting a hurting on Cake here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Bulerk politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bulerk prefers to stall for the moment though. Bulerk tries for a kimura but Cake is defending well. Cake on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Jake Cake has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cake is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on Cake's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cake is being controlled here.
And that's the end of the fight! Od Bulerk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bulerk winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
