Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Louis Pollard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikola Korent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikola Korent will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pollard dives in and scores a takedown into Korent's guard.
Korent is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Korent throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Pollard has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Korent looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pollard is one step ahead there.
Korent has Pollard pulled in close to control his posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pollard won't allow Korent to sweep him here.

Pollard is fighting to break Korent's control of his arms but Korent is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Pollard shoots in for a double leg but Korent sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Korent just misses with a punch to the body.
Pollard looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

and Korent counters by clinching up.
Korent throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Korent gets through Pollard's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Korent gets control of Pollard's arms and successfully pulls guard. Korent will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Pollard prevents Korent from getting back to his feet.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Korent holds on and takes a little breather.

Korent is looking to stand up but Pollard isn't so interested in that idea.
Korent wants to sweep but no luck.
Korent is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Korent is on top in guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pollard wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Korent manages to pass to side control.

Korent stops Pollard from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pollard has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Korent escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Korent!

Pollard is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Korent's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Korent! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Pollard has tapped! This one is allllll over!
