Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordus Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Callum Pagnozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gordus Clay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 12 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Callum Pagnozzi! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pagnozzi throws a leg kick but Clay sees it coming and moves out of range. Clay dives in for a single leg takedown but Pagnozzi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Clay lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Pagnozzi lands with a shot to the body. Clay blocks a low kick nicely. Pagnozzi drops his hands momentarily and Clay takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Pagnozzi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Clay is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pagnozzi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A solid leg kick lands there for Pagnozzi.
Pagnozzi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Pagnozzi. A nice left hand lands by Pagnozzi.
Pagnozzi content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Clay struggles to land a body shot inside as Pagnozzi controls his hands.
Clay tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pagnozzi's elbow. Pagnozzi misses with the head strike.
Clay has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pagnozzi after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gordus Clay. That's going to take a lot out of him. Clay drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Clay misses with a punch to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pagnozzi is leaning against Clay and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Clay wants to take the fight to the mat but Pagnozzi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Pagnozzi fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pagnozzi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Clays head. Clay changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pagnozzi fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Clay is breathing heavily. Clay has closed the distance and engaged Pagnozzi in a clinch.
Pagnozzi lands a right hand. Pagnozzi turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Pagnozzi grinds an elbow into Clay's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clay is looking for a sweep. Pagnozzi working the ground and pound from side control. Pagnozzi trying to control the position but Clay is working away. Pagnozzi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Pagnozzi lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pagnozzi happy to just control the position for now. Clay is looking to regain half guard here but Pagnozzi keeps moving and retains side control. Clay is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clay is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pagnozzi connects with a decent elbow. Clay is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Pagnozzi drops an elbow to the side of Clay's head. Clay gets full guard. Clay keeping moving, preventing Pagnozzi from controlling successfully. Pagnozzi lands a couple of elbows. Pagnozzi trying to control the position from guard on top but Clay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clay is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pagnozzi's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Clay working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Pagnozzi has passed into half guard!
Ground and pound from Pagnozzi. Pagnozzi keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pagnozzi connects with a nice short shot to Clay's temple.

Clay is rocked! Pagnozzi lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Clay quite badly. Clay pulls Pagnozzi in close trying to recover. Pagnozzi postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Clay on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Clay doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Callum Pagnozzi! A relieved looking Callum Pagnozzi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
