Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Classic Man!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miller Light!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man lands the left hand.
Light will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Light is looking to clinch.
Man lands with a hook. Light tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Light moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Miller Light has been cut.
Man just misses with a punch to the body.
Man jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Man misses with a shot to the body
and Light counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Light dodges the punch combination from Man.
The fight stays on the outside here - Light looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Light misses with a two punch combination.
Light tries to clinch
and Man connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Light has a takedown stuffed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Light is looking to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Man thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nice sprawl there from Man as Light shoots in.
Man is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Classic Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miller Light.
Light tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Man manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Light tries to clinch up but Man circles away and keeps his distance.
Light shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Man defends it nicely.
Man drops Light with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Light looks back up at him and smiles so Man waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Light is rocked!
Light thows a leg kick but Man checks it
and Man scores with a counter punch that sends Light to the canvas! Man smells blood - he's punishing Light with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Light has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Classic Man!
A relieved looking Classic Man thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
