Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ove Sundberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raiymbek Batyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ove Sundberg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Raiymbek Batyr! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sundberg misses with an uppercut. Batyr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sundberg defends it nicely. Sundberg swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Batyr dives in for a single leg takedown but Sundberg sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Batyr shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Batyr was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sundberg might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Batyr tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Batyr connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sundberg some visible discomfort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batyr throws a strike aimed at the side of Sundberg's head but Sundberg avoids it well. Batyr scoring with punches from side control. Batyr happy to just control the position for now. Batyr is trying to ground and pound but Sundberg uses the momentary lack of control by Batyr to regain half guard. Batyr throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Batyr looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sundberg with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Batyr is working for a kimura but Sundberg is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Batyr throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Batyr missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Batyr is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Batyr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Batyr lands with a punch from half guard. Sundberg tries to roll over but Batyr keeps him under control. Sundberg avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Batyr. Batyr is trying to work for a kimura but Sundberg is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Batyr is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sundberg! Batyr with good strikes from the mount here! Batyr with a couple of short strikes. Batyr breaks from Sundberg's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Sundberg is rocked! Batyr has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sundberg's face.
Oh Sundberg is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Batyr postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Sundberg is out cold - huge knockout for Batyr!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Raiymbek Batyr! A less than humble Raiymbek Batyr misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
