Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elgin Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nathan Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Elgin Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Jones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Turner pushes him off.
Turner throws a lazy uppercut
and Turner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jones tries to clinch there but Turner circles away.
Jones is looking to clinch but Turner is avoiding it.
Jones avoids the body shot from Turner.
Turner keeps the fight on the outside.
Turner throws out a powerful jab.
Jones takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Turner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Turner gets control of Jones's arms and successfully pulls guard. Turner will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Turner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Turner escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.

Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Turner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Turner. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Turner lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.


Jones is rocked!
Turner throws a leg kick which misses Jones's front leg but catches the back leg as Jones tries to avoid it.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Turner finish him?
Turner knocks out Jones with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Turner before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Turner picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Elgin Turner!
In his post fight interview, Elgin Turner started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
