Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fighter One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Jack and Jack - I'm In. Jack Jason has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Fighter One's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fighter One! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Jason! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jason misses with a looping left. One throws a big counter combination but Jason scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Jason missing with a left hand there. One was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. One tries to counter with a takedown but Jason is quick to defend against it. One jabs Jason to the body, keeping him at a distance. One fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jason, pushing him back against the cage. One lands a takedown into guard.
Jason trying to keep a closed guard but One is proving a slippery customer.
Jason is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Jason working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. One doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. One manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. One wants to control from the top but Jason keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jason controls One momentarily but One frees himself. One trying to control the position from guard on top but Jason is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. One is really struggling to control Jason but he's trying to hold on to the position. Jason trying to keep a closed guard but One is proving a slippery customer.
One wanted to stand there but Jason had control of the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. One closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. One throws a series of punches but Jason moves out of range. One ducks under a wild hook from Jason. A swing and a miss from Jason. One throws a head kick that misses. Jason connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. One misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
One thows a left - swing and a miss! One blocks a head kick by Jason.
One steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jason. Jason misses with a looping left. One is looking for a counter combo. Jason looks to land a right hand but One moved out of range. Jason misses with a head kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by One. Jason is trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jason manages to get back to half guard. One not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jason is refusing to be controlled, as One sits in half guard. Jason wants to get back to full guard. One trying to control from half guard but Jason is working away. Jason controlling the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. One is thwarting Jason's attempts to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. One keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jason changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Jason cracks One with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. One throws a body punch but Jason moves out of range. Nice defenses there by One. One really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. One avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jason swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Jason throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nice takedown defense from Jason. No joy for One on that attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Jason dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
One has a takedown stuffed. Despite the aggression on Jason's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Excellent takedown into side control there by One. Jason tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but One wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. One is staying tight to Jason's torso, preventing him from escaping. One knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jason on the ground. Jason trying his best to control but One has mounted him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jason tries to lock up and control but One gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jason is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jason tries to hold on but One pushes him away. Jason working to try and regain half guard.
One sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Jason slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. One is keen to just control but Jason is a slippery customer. Jason has one foot on One's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. One keeps the fight on the outside. Jason misses with a straight right. One moves out of range of the strikes. Jason might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. One moves out of range as Jason strikes. Jack Jason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jason tries a head kick but it misses.
One tries to counter by clinching up but Jason breaks away and moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jason misses with a hook. One is looking to counter the offense by Jason and move into the clinch. One shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. One passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. One stalling. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. One blocks the strikes from Jason.
One trying to control the pace. Jason works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jason looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jason is trying to control the position but One postures up. Jason wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and One is now in half guard. Jason is refusing to be controlled, as One sits in half guard. Jason tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. One is working for a kimura but Jason is defending it quite comfortably.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jason is looking to improve his position.
Jason manages to escape and get back to his feet! One fails with a takedown attempt. Jason lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. One shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jason as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fighter One. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jason looks to land a left hand but One moved out of range nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Jason showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Jason throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. One was covering up waiting for the punch and Jason finishes the takedown easily into guard. That's one minute gone in the round. Jason is thwarting One's attempts to control the position. One slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. One looking for a guillotine here but Jason defends easily.

He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than One was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jason throws One to one side and escapes! Jack Jason seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jason bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. One is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jason controls the position. Jason moves into full mount! A nice elbow there by Jason. Jason working the ground and pound effectively.
One tries to improve his position but Jason has taken his back! Jason has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will One tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Jason pushes One away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
