Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taiwei Neo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Taiwei Neo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sergio Leon! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Neo working hard to break the clinch. Leon stalls. Neo stops a takedown attempt from Leon.

Neo breaks from the clinch.
Neo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Neo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Leon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Neo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Top Team in the buildup to the fight. Leon gets a clinch. Leon displaying some good clinch control by pressing Neo up against the cage. Neo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neo punishes Leon's body with a nice straight punch. Neo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Taiwei Neo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Neo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Neo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Neo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leon circles away quickly and effectively. Neo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Leon on the side of the head. Leon shoots for a takedown but Neo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Neo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Leon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Leon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Neo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Neo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Neo tries to keep at a distance but Leon has taken the fight into the clinch. Leon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Neo walks away with a smile on his face. Leon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Taiwei Neo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergio Leon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Leon at a distance.
Leon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Neo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Leon drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Neo defends it well. Leon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Neo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Neo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Leon takes one to the side of the head.

Neo looks to land a combination. Leon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Neo works over Leon's head and body with a nice combination. The fight moves into the clinch position. Leon stalling in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neo stalling in the clinch.
Neo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Leon takes a shot right to the bread basket. Leon thows a left - swing and a miss! Neo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Leon wants to clinch up but Neo keeps it at a distance. Neo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Leon rushes Neo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Neo is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Leon can't find room to land a body shot as Neo controls the action.
Come on Leon - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Neo tries to break free but Leon pushes him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neo is pressed up against the cage. Leon has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Neo down to the mat. Neo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Neo punishes Leon's body with a nice straight punch. Leon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Neo was well out of range. Poor timing from Leon. Leon throws a leg kick but Neo sees it coming and moves out of range. Neo scores to the head and body with a nice combination! This has been an exciting period of action! Neo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Leon's head. Leon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Neo throws a right hand that Leon ducks under and follows up with a left that Leon also avoids with ease. Neo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Neo tries to break the clinch but Leon is controlling the position. Neo is trying to push Leon away but Leon has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Neo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Taiwei Neo dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Neo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Neo duly obliges. Neo closes the distance and clinches. Leon stalling the fight.
Leon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Neo smiles and moves away.
Neo throws a series of punches but Leon avoids them all with ease. The crowd cheers as Neo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Leon doesn't seem phased though. Neo throws a nice looking combination but Leon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Leon takes the fight into the clinch. Leon stalls. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Neo just stands there and leans against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Leon - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Leon throws a head punch that misses. Leon stalling the fight.

That's going to take a lot out of Sergio Leon. Neo prevents a body shot from Leon. Neo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Leon leaning his opponent against the cage. Neo breaks the clinch.
Leon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Leon gets in close and instigates a clinch. Leon is trying to pull guard but Neo has him pressed against the cage. Neo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Leon can do to turn this around? Leon stalling against the cage.

Leon turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Leon throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Neo can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leon misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Sloppy strikes there by Leon. Leon throwing shots but missing, from side control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Neo wants to get back to his feet but Leon drags him back down. Leon grinds an elbow into Neo's temple. Neo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leon on the ground. Neo is trying to improve his position. Leon misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Neo defending against the ground and pound. Leon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Neo keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Leon connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Neo some visible discomfort.
Neo managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Leon.
Leon creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Neo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Leon landing strikes. Leon in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Neo is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Sergio Leon!
