The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crawford scores with a leg kick.
A jab from Distacio Jr finds it's way through Crawford's defenses.
Distacio Jr lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Distacio Jr scores with a hook to the body. Crawford takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Crawford lands a front kick.
Crawford scores with a decent looking hook.
Crawford throws out a leg kick but Distacio Jr moves out of range and Crawford only half commits.
Distacio Jr bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Jay Crawford has been cut.
Crawford feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Distacio Jr's calf.
Crawford on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crawford throws a body kick that misses
and Distacio Jr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Distacio Jr keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Crawford's head.
Distacio Jr postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Distacio Jr advances position into side control!
Distacio Jr lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Crawford is rocked!
Distacio Jr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crawford takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
A big shot lands for Distacio Jr! That's hurt Crawford! Will he recover? Distacio Jr fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
