Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raquel Juarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Owusu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raquel Juarez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leonard Owusu! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Juarez is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Owusu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Juarez. Owusu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Owusu throws a right hand that Juarez ducks under and follows up with a left that Juarez also avoids with ease. Owusu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Juarez, pushing him back against the cage. Juarez jumps into guard, dragging Owusu to the mat.
Juarez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Owusu is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Juarez looking for a guillotine here but Owusu defends easily.
Juarez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Juarez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Owusu manages to get himself to full guard.
Juarez drops back looking for a leg! Owusu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Owusu manages to kick Juarez off! Juarez jumps back into Owusu's guard. Owusu scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Juarez wants to control from the top but Owusu keeps moving. Owusu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Juarez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Juarez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Owusu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Juarez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Juarez trying to control the position from guard on top but Owusu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've been hearing good reports from Juarez's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Juarez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Owusu pushes Juarez off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Juarez is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Juarez shoots in and drives through. Owusu sprawls well. Owusu feints the counter takedown. Juarez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Owusu counters by moving into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raquel Juarez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Juarez is breathing heavily. Owusu manages to pull guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Owusu wants to stand and escape but Juarez is having none of it. Owusu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Juarez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Juarez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Juarez trying to control the position from guard on top but Owusu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Owusu manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Owusu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Juarez throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Juarez is trying to keep Owusu in close.
Owusu distracts Juarez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Owusu slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Juarez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Owusu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Owusu landing with the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leonard Owusu dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Juarez tries to clinch but Owusu is having none of it. Owusu darts in and clinches Juarez up against the cage. Owusu looks to throw an elbow but misses. Owusu has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Juarez regains guard immediately. Juarez pushes a forearm under Owusu's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Owusu is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Raquel Juarez!
