Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kid Cudi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Cabeza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Cabeza's choice of entrance music: Where Do I Start. On his way into the cage it seems that Kid Cudi has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kid Cudi seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kid Cudi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Cabeza! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cabeza closes the distance and clinches. Cabeza manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Cabeza is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cudi postures up.
Cabeza trying to control the position here. Cudi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cabeza not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cabeza wants to sweep here but Cudi controlling him for the moment. Cabeza lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cudi! Cabeza controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cabeza raining down shots from the mount! Cudi tries to improve his position but instead Cabeza has taken his back! Cudi is breathing heavily. Cabeza wants to control but Cudi manages to buck him off and is now in Cabeza's guard! Nice work there by Cudi! Cudi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Cabeza working for a triangle but Cudi defends it easily.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cabeza is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cudi has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cudi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Cabeza dominated that round. That's time! Cudi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Cabeza fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cudi, pushing him back against the cage. Cudi trying to control the position but instead, Cabeza has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cudi into the cage. Cabeza lands a takedown into guard.
Cudi keeping moving, preventing Cabeza from controlling successfully. Cabeza might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cudi kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Cabeza advances to half guard. Cudi on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cabeza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cudi keeps working. Cabeza trying to control the pace.

David Cabeza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cabeza moves into the clinch. Cabeza has Cudi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cudi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Cudi fails to pull guard.

Cudi blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Cudi tries to land knees in the clinch but Cabeza avoids the damage to the body. Cabeza is struggling to control the position. Cabeza is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cabeza stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Cabeza looks for the body kick but Cudi saw that one coming. Kid Cudi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cudi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cabeza's sensitive parts. Cabeza shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Cabeza wants to work for an arm triangle but Cudi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cudi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Cudi wants to control from the top but Cabeza keeps moving. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cabeza changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cudi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Cabeza lands an elbow. Cabeza is trying to get an arm triangle but Cudi is defending well. Cabeza stands up. Cabeza shoots in for a takedown and gets it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Cabeza dominated that fourth round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Cabeza looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cabeza postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cabeza throwing strikes but missing. Cudi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cabeza controls the pace. Cabeza with a flurry of punches that miss. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Cabeza cracks Cudi with a solid left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cabeza slips nicely into half guard. Cabeza is taking a breather. Cudi says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Cabeza passes to full mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cabeza cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cabeza unloading with bombs! Cabeza cracks Cudi with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Cabeza stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Cabeza looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cudi! Cabeza looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! David Cabeza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Cabeza winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
