Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Hay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Mr Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Nick Hay! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson avoids the head kick by Hay.
Hay clinches. Hay wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hay blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Anderson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Anderson throws a punch but it's blocked by Hay. Hay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Anderson scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Hay has Anderson up against the cage in a clinch.
Anderson gets through Hay's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Anderson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Anderson misses with a short punch on the inside. Anderson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hay looks to throw an elbow but misses. Anderson lands a nice uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A nice left hand lands by Hay.
Anderson gets through Hay's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Anderson lands with a short shot to the head. Anderson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hay just misses with a elbow thrown towards Anderson's brow. Anderson has a couple of punches blocked by Hay.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hay working hard to break the clinch. Hay blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Anderson throws a head punch that misses. Anderson swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Anderson lands with a short shot to the head. Anderson swings wildly with an uppercut but Hay uses good head movement to avoid it. Hay misses with a knee strike.
Hay breaks from the clinch.
Hay gets in close and instigates a clinch. Anderson lands with a right to the head. A head punch on the inside from Anderson fails to land. A head punch blocked on the inside by Hay. Hay tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Anderson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Hay prevents a body shot from Anderson. Hay scores with a shot to the side of Anderson's head. Anderson throws a punch but it's blocked by Hay. Anderson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Anderson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Hay has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Hay moves into the clinch. Anderson misses with a punch to the body.
Hay lands with a short head shot on the inside. Hay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Anderson rushes Hay and presses him up against the cage. Anderson lands with a light punch inside. Anderson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hay is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Anderson to the mat. Anderson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Anderson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hay rolls with it to try and escape but Anderson cranks on the arm and Hay is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
