Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Burgundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drago Maximov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximov throws the left hand but Burgundy avoids the punch easily.
It looked like Burgundy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Burgundy drops Maximov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Maximov looks back up at him and smiles so Burgundy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Burgundy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Maximov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Maximov throws a head kick that misses.

Maximov moves into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Burgundy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Maximov slips a straight right by Burgundy.

Burgundy lands a big head kick that sends Maximov tumbling to the mat! Burgundy takes a step backwards and waves Maximov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Maximov is rocked!
The fight stays on the outside here - Maximov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Maximov is still on wobbly legs! Can Burgundy finish him?

Maximov has closed the distance and engaged Burgundy in a clinch.
Burgundy blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Maximov seems to have recovered his senses.
Burgundy can't find room to land a body shot as Maximov controls the action.

Burgundy slows down the pace here.
Maximov fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Maximov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Burgundy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Burgundy throws a solid leg kick but Maximov takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Burgundy.
Maximov appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Maximov takes a swing at Burgundy's ribcage but misses.
Maximov slips a straight right by Burgundy.
Burgundy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Burgundy lands with a right hand.
Maximov tries to clinch but Burgundy moves out of range.

Maximov is aggressively charging in as Burgundy backs up avoiding any damage. Burgundy tosses out a jab and Maximov runs right into it face first! Maximov is out cold! Burgundy dropped down on all fours and is barking in Maximov's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
