Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eugene Robertson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Glen Gall!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Robertson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Robertson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Gall tries a head kick but it misses.
Gall bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Robertson misses with a double jab

and Gall counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gall.
Robertson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gall to keep the fight standing.
Robertson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gall smiles and moves away.
Robertson throws a jab when Gall was well out of range.
Robertson lands with a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gall takes the fight into the clinch.

Gall has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Robertson regains guard immediately.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Robertson pushes a forearm under Gall's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gall is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Eugene Robertson!
