Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sunny Lafeye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes to the ring accompanied by Mosh By Eminem. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tito Ortiz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sunny Lafeye! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lafeye gets caught flat footed, as Ortiz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lafeye escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ortiz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Lafeye throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ortiz escapes and throws Lafeye's legs to the side, diving into side control! Ortiz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ortiz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ortiz is looking to take a break and control but Lafeye is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lafeye tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ortiz taking a breather here. Ortiz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lafeye gets back to half guard. Ortiz scoring with strikes to the body and head. Lafeye has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ortiz is working away from the top position though. Ortiz slips a nice elbow through Lafeye's hands, connecting with Lafeye's forehead. Ortiz is working for a kimura but Lafeye is defending it quite comfortably.
Nice strikes from Ortiz there. Ortiz winds up and cracks Lafeye with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Lafeye works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ortiz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ortiz looking to pass the guard. Ortiz trying to control the position from guard on top but Lafeye is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ortiz scoring with some ground and pound. Ortiz connects with a couple of short punches. Lafeye is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ortiz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lafeye is keeping the position for now. Lafeye had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ortiz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lafeye Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ortiz's back instead. Ortiz turns into Lafeye and is now in his guard.
Lafeye looks gassed! Ortiz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lafeye's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lafeye stuffs the takedown. Ortiz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lafeye wants to control but Ortiz postures up. Lafeye manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Lafeye is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ortiz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lafeye is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ortiz is keen to just control but Lafeye is a slippery customer. Ortiz controlling the action here. Ortiz drops an elbow to the side of Lafeye's head. Ortiz wants to take a breather but Lafeye is having none of it. Ortiz lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ortiz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lafeye defends it well. Ortiz is nestled in close to Lafeye, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Lafeye slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ortiz trying to control the position from guard on top but Lafeye is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ortiz is trying to control. Lafeye wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Lafeye wants to improve his position but Ortiz is controlling well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ortiz fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lafeye misses with a takedown attempt - Ortiz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ortiz shoots and misses and Lafeye counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ortiz's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tito Ortiz. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ortiz is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Ortiz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tito Ortiz will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Ortiz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ortiz is looking to advance position but Lafeye has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ortiz is desperately trying to improve his position but Lafeye has a good base and remains in mount. Lafeye is looking to stand but Lafeye has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Lafeye moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ortiz has worked his arm free - good work by Ortiz!
Ortiz has one of Lafeye's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Tito Ortiz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ortiz sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Lafeye takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ortiz trying to control from the bottom.

Ortiz wants to free his trapped foot but Lafeye is holding on for dear life with his legs. Lafeye tries to get to full guard but Ortiz has control of the leg. Lafeye is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ortiz scores with a couple of nice shots. Lafeye wants to control but Ortiz is keeping busy.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ortiz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lafeye is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Ortiz stays in close to Lafeye's body and controls the position. Ortiz connects with a couple of short punches.

Ortiz is nestled in close to Lafeye, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ortiz stalling. It looks like he's just sitting there. Ortiz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Ortiz has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lafeye defend it? Ortiz steps over the head and cranks it - Lafeye is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ortiz!
