Tubridy comes to the cage accompanied by Late Late theme tune. Del Norte has chosen La Coka Nostra - Malverde Market as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Norte swats away the attempt to clinch by Tubridy.
Del Norte throws out a counter right but Tubridy avoids it with no problem.
Tubridy throws an overhand right that lands on Del Norte's shoulder, as Del Norte tries to avoid the shot.
Del Norte looks to land a combination but Tubridy avoids it well.

Del Norte closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tubridy quickly recovers to half guard.
Tubridy is trying to control but can't.
Tubridy tries to roll over but Del Norte keeps him under control.
Well, if Del Norte is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Del Norte lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Del Norte is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Tubridy is trying to escape and Del Norte transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Tubridy is forced to tap! Nice work there by Del Norte! Very nice indeed!

After the fight, Fantinaz Del Norte was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
