Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kanishka Lijikiszcz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clinton Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clinton Hunt will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kanishka Lijikiszcz! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clinton Hunt! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lijikiszcz walks into a jab. Hunt ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Hunt clinches up with Lijikiszcz and pushes him back against the cage. Lijikiszcz is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hunt takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hunt fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Hunt. Hunt tries to work over Lijikiszcz's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hunt fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunt lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lijikiszcz backwards. Lijikiszcz lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Lijikiszcz being controlled against the cage. A hook to the body from Hunt.
Lijikiszcz goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt is pressed up against the cage. Lijikiszcz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hunt down to the mat. Hunt avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Hunt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lijikiszcz walks into a left hand. Clinton Hunt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hunt lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Lijikiszcz swats away the attempt to clinch by Hunt. Hunt misses with a few strikes there.
A slow jab from Hunt misses its intended target. Lijikiszcz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hunt gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lijikiszcz throwing strikes from guard but Hunt blocks nicely. Hunt working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lijikiszcz.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lijikiszcz drops back looking for a leg! Hunt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hunt manages to kick Lijikiszcz off! Lijikiszcz jumps back into Hunt's guard. Lijikiszcz scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Lijikiszcz trying to control but Hunt is working from the bottom. Lijikiszcz pushes down on Hunt's leg and manages to get into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hunt has hold of Lijikiszcz's hands but Lijikiszcz slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Lijikiszcz passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hunt! Lijikiszcz landing strikes from the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lijikiszcz working for a submission but Hunt is keeping him at bay. Lijikiszcz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lijikiszcz looking to secure an arm triangle but Hunt defends it well. Lijikiszcz unloading with bombs! Lijikiszcz thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Lijikiszcz working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Hunt turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Lijikiszcz off and cradles Hunt's limp body as Lijikiszcz celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Kanishka Lijikiszcz! Kanishka Lijikiszcz retains his bantamweight title! A relieved looking Kanishka Lijikiszcz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
