Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drokov Slayveski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drokov Slayveski looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Ivanov! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slayveski fails with a takedown attempt. Slayveski looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Ivanov working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Slayveski has passed into half guard!
Ivanov avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Slayveski. Slayveski thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ivanov's head. Slayveski seems to be looking for submissions.

Ivanov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ivanov is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ivanov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Slayveski counters with a takedown into side control. Ivanov takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Ivanov on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Slayveski looks up at the clock and then as Ivanov takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Slayveski smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Drokov Slayveski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Slayveski scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Ivanov to see if he's OK. Ivanov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Slayveski wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Slayveski lands a few punches from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ivanov on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ivanov is not content to let Slayveski control the position. Ivanov takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ivanov is looking to reverse the position. Slayveski cracks Ivanov with an elbow. That is naaassty. Slayveski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ivanov takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ivanov can do anything to dispel that myth. Slayveski working the body and head with strikes. Slayveski working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Slayveski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Slayveski is looking to take a break and control but Ivanov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Slayveski lands with a punch from half guard. Boris Ivanov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Drokov Slayveski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Slayveski controlling his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Drokov Slayveski showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Slayveski, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
