Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Owin Erl! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Enok Jepsen! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Erl clinches. Jepsen lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. We've been hearing reports that Erl has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Jepsen has Erl pressed against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Jepsen's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jepsen is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jepsen trying to control the action but Erl is working from the bottom. Erl regains full guard. Nicely done. Erl tries to strike from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Erl is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Erl looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jepsen passes into side control.

Enok Jepsen dominated that round. That's time! Erl's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jepsen cracks Erl with a good jab. Jepsen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Erl doesn't manage to clinch there - Jepsen circles away.

Still in the clinch, Jepsen scores with a nice short uppercut. Erl lands with a short shot to the head. Erl manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Jepsen stopping the sweep attempt from Erl.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jepsen's corner is telling him to maintain position. Erl is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Erl not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jepsen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Erl's head backwards. Jepsen darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Jepsen just misses with a punch to the body.
Erl tries to counter with a takedown but Jepsen is quick to defend against it. Owin Erl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Erl goes for a double leg but Jepsen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jepsen continues to drive forward. Erl looks for a takedown but Jepsen sprawls well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Enok Jepsen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Erl closes the distance but Jepsen moves to the side and Jepsen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jepsen is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jepsen, as that shot connected.
Erl moves in looking to clinch but Jepsen pushes him off. A little jabbing left from Jepsen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Erl tries to clinch but Jepsen moves away and Jepsen counters with a nice uppercut.
Erl is rocked! Erl tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jepsen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Oh Erl is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! BOOM! Jepsen lands a beautiful left hook that drops Erl. Erl tries to recover but Jepsen is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Erl lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Enok Jepsen! Enok Jepsen is the new middleweight champion! A relieved looking Enok Jepsen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
