Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Renato Robles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zan Vilco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zan Vilco has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Renato Robles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zan Vilco! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robles tries to keep at a distance but Vilco has taken the fight into the clinch. Vilco pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Robles checks a leg kick. Vilco misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vilco tries to clinch up. Vilco throws a half hearted mid kick. As Vilco tries to get set, Robles tries to push him back and clinch up but Vilco manages to avoid the attempt. Robles throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A momentary lapse in concentration from Robles enables Vilco to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Robles manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Vilco preventing the sweep. Vilco seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It looks like Vilco might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Robles will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Vilco's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vilco passes into half guard. Robles is trying to stand up here but Vilco is controlling him well. Vilco sitting and controlling from the half guard. Vilco tries to stand but can't do so whilst Robles controls his leg. Robles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Robles trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Robles wants to control but Vilco is having none of it. Robles is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Vilco has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Robles's face.
Robles tries to reverse the position but Vilco maintains control. Robles regains half guard. Vilco is taking a breather. Robles says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Vilco takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Robles is trying to maintain the position but Vilco is very close to passing his half guard. Robles tries to kick Vilco off but Vilco keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Vilco tries to pass to full mount but Robles defends it. Vilco working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robles is trying to maintain the position but Vilco is very close to passing his half guard. Vilco looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Robles is looking to control Vilco's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Robles avoid being mounted? Vilco scoring with strikes to the body and head. Robles trying to control but Vilco postures up.
Well, if Vilco is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Vilco looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Vilco in particular looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Robles wants to improve his position but Vilco is controlling well.
Robles makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Robles. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Robles pushes Vilco off and gets back to his feet.
Robles shoots in for a takedown but Vilco shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Vilco tries to counter by closing the distance. Vilco drives through with a takedown into Robles's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zan Vilco dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Vilco throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Robles was covering up waiting for the punch and Vilco finishes the takedown easily into guard. Vilco would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Vilco postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Vilco tries to free his leg and advance position but Robles is retaining full guard. Vilco postures up.
Vilco stopping the sweep attempt from Robles. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vilco's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Zan Vilco has got the better of the ground game so far. Vilco chips away with some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vilco lands a couple of elbows.
Robles is rocked! Vilco with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Oh Robles is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Vilco arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Robles's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Zan Vilco!
