The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Anibal Dennis has been cut.
Jackie Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silver fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dennis on the side of the head.
Silver misses with a hook
and Dennis counters with a thumping low kick.
Silver with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Silver connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Dennis is rocked!
Dennis loses concentration momentarily and Silver pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Dennis crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Silver finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jackie Silver!
A relieved looking Jackie Silver thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
