Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Apple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rafael Gonzales! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Apple misses with a hook. Apple swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gonzales wants to counter with a clinch but Apple pushes him away. Apple scores with a jab. Gonzales acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Gonzales shoots in looking for a takedown but Apple manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gonzales's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. It looked like Apple wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Gonzales shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Apple sprawls well. Apple wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gonzales gets slowly back to his feet. Apple swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Gonzales tries to close the distance and clinch up but Apple swats him away and circles back towards the center. Apple jabbing away but nothing is landing. A slow jab from Gonzales misses its intended target. Apple blocks a head kick by Gonzales.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gonzales tries to clinch but Apple moves out of range. Gonzales gets in close and instigates a clinch. Gonzales trying to stall but Apple improves his position.

Apple cracks Gonzales with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Gonzales uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Apple. Gonzales scores with a crisp jab that stopped Apple in his tracks. Gonzales is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Apple lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Rafael Gonzales has been cut. Gonzales shoots for a takedown but Apple saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Apple lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Gonzales doesn't manage to clinch there - Apple circles away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Apple, as that shot connected.

Apple misses with a hook. Gonzales ducked under it nicely. Gonzales moves in looking to clinch but Apple pushes him off. Apple is looking to counter punch. Apple misses with a left hand and Gonzales counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Mark Apple is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A big right from Apple misses. Apple misses the jab. Gonzales takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Mark Apple seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Apple lands a jab to Gonzales's midsection. Gonzales looks winded! Apple swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Gonzales should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Apple comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Gonzales is rocked! Apple jabs Gonzales to the body, keeping him at a distance. Gonzales is still on wobbly legs! Can Apple finish him? Gonzales tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Apple swivels and escapes. Apple closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Gonzales out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
