Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Joyce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucifer Solstice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joyce takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Jamal Joyce has been cut.
Joyce throws a sloppy head kick and Solstice moves out of range easily.

Solstice fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Joyce, pushing him back against the cage.
Joyce jumps guard but Solstice turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Solstice works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Joyce uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Joyce throws a head kick but Solstice moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Joyce tries to sprawl but Solstice drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Joyce has one foot on Solstice's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Joyce lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Joyce drops back looking for a leg! Solstice is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Solstice manages to kick Joyce off! Joyce jumps back into Solstice's guard.

Joyce might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Joyce is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Solstice is just riding it out for now. Joyce eventually gives up the hold.
Solstice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joyce. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Joyce swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Solstice is now in Joyce's guard. A big mistake from Joyce there, giving up the dominant position!

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Solstice moves into the clinch.

Joyce is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Solstice can't fight it off and eventually Joyce manages to take the fight to the floor. Solstice looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Solstice is trying to control his opponent's hands. Eventually Joyce gets his hands free and sinks in a rear naked choke. For a while it looks like Solstice is going to survive but after struggling valiantly, he eventually has to tap out! Joyce is your winner!
