The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bale lands a glancing blow to the side of Saraste's head.
It looks like Konstantin Saraste has been cut.
Bale misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Saraste.

Saraste gets the takedown into side control.
Bale tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Saraste has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bale has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Well, with Saraste on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Bale is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
