The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a low kick as Simmons jumps back.
Simmons feints the counter takedown.

Simmons gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Silva throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Simmons tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Silva is in Simmons's guard.
