Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gizmo Gremlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Apple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gremlin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Apple cracks Gremlin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Gremlin throws a jab but it's blocked by Apple.
Gremlin throws out a loose jab but Apple uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gremlin lands a nice shot that snaps Apple's head back.
Apple staying out of range there.
Gremlin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A telegraphed right hand from Apple misses the target.
Apple walks into a left hand.
Gremlin misses with an uppercut. Apple saw that one coming.
Apple swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Gremlin slips a jab from Apple.
Apple thuds his right hand into Gremlin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Gizmo Gremlin has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Apple displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gremlin throws out the jab.

Gremlin sets himself, and Apple steps forward looking for the clinch! Gremlin avoids it this time.

Apple keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Apple lands a nice looking body shot.
Gremlin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Apple.
Apple bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gremlin's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Apple is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gremlin had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Gremlin throws a hook to the side of Apple's head but Apple sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gremlin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gremlin is breathing heavily.
Apple scores with a jab. Gremlin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Apple lands a really nice looking cross but Gremlin seems unphased.

Apple throws a good cross that connects.
Apple keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gremlin is rocked!
Gremlin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Apple to score with a decent uppercut.
Oh Gremlin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Apple cracks Gremlin with a left hook right on the temple and Gremlin goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Apple lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Gremlin is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mark Apple!
In defeat, Gizmo Gremlin stepped up to the mic, saying 'AHHHHHHH'.
