Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martti Molski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jiu Jitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Martti Molski!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molski misses with a lunging right hand

and Jitsu counters with a shoot takedown. Molski fights it but they end up in guard.

Molski has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jitsu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Molski swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jitsu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jitsu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jitsu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jitsu pushes down on Molski's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Jitsu is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Jitsu is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Molski as he works his way to full guard.

Jitsu drops back looking for a leg! Molski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Molski manages to kick Jitsu off! Jitsu jumps back into Molski's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Molski is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Jitsu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Molski works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Molski looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Molski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Molski gets caught napping as Jitsu dives in and scores a takedown. Molski manages to retain guard.

Molski looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Molski controls Jitsu momentarily but Jitsu frees himself.

Jitsu is fighting to break Molski's control of his arms but Molski is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Jitsu attempts a counter takedown but Molski avoids it well and moves away.
Jitsu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Jitsu postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Jitsu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Molski, who protects the arm well.

Jitsu goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Molski rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jitsu's guard! Nice work there by Molski!

Jitsu is looking for a triangle here but Molski uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Jitsu is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's time! Jitsu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Molski throws a hook but Jitsu avoids it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Molski looks to score with a jab to the body but Jitsu is just out of range.
Jitsu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Molski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Molski throws out a loose jab but Jitsu uses good head movement to avoid it.

Molski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jitsu.

I would just about give that final round to Martti Molski.
I think Jitsu has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
