18 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Justin Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy McLarnin! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall misses the shot to the body. A head kick misses from McLarnin. Hall closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Hall scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. McLarnin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hall's hands. A nice leg kick lands there from McLarnin. McLarnin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hall closes the distance looking to clinch and McLarnin counters with a nice uppercut. McLarnin looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. McLarnin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. McLarnin fails miserably with a takedown attempt. McLarnin lands with a shot to the body. Justin Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Hall. McLarnin does a little dance to reset his feet. Nice sprawl there from Hall as McLarnin shoots in. McLarnin tries to keep at a distance but Hall has taken the fight into the clinch. Hall can't find room to land a body shot as McLarnin controls the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall scores with a hook to the body. McLarnin is looking to break free of the clinch but Hall has double underhooks. Hall misses with a hook from the clinch. Hall fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
McLarnin blocks a punch to the side of the head.
McLarnin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. McLarnin misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall has McLarnin pressed against the cage, preventing McLarnin from circling away and getting back to striking at range. McLarnin is trying to force a seperation but Hall has the dominant position. The referee is keeping an eye on Hall - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
McLarnin is looking for a takedown. Justin Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy McLarnin. Hall just leaning against McLarnin, taking a breather. Hall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McLarnin misses with a takedown attempt - Hall sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hall moves into the clinch. Hall misses with a body punch.
McLarnin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hall misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hall swings wildly with an uppercut but McLarnin uses good head movement to avoid it. Hall lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Hall dominated that round. That's time! Hall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hall tries to clinch but fails miserably and McLarnin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hall thinking. McLarnin gets tackled into the cage by Hall. Hall maintains the clinch. McLarnin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hall bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The fight stays on the outside here - Hall looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hall takes the fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McLarnin struggles to land a body shot inside as Hall controls his hands.

Hall misses with a hook from the clinch. McLarnin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jimmy McLarnin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hall blocks a head kick by McLarnin.

McLarnin is rocked! McLarnin tries to keep at a distance but Hall has taken the fight into the clinch. Hall has a couple of punches blocked by McLarnin.

Hall swings wildly with an uppercut but McLarnin uses good head movement to avoid it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McLarnin has had enough of the clinch but Hall keeps him there for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Hall dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Hall throws a quick inside leg kick. Jimmy McLarnin seems to be getting the better of the standup. McLarnin works Hall's body with a nice hook. McLarnin goes for a double leg but Hall avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hall continues to drive forward. McLarnin misses with a series of wild punches.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hall gets in close and instigates a clinch. McLarnin tries a knee to the head but Hall blocks it.
McLarnin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hall lands a body shot.
Justin Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hall bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McLarnin's head. McLarnin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hall wants to clinch. McLarnin looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall clinches with his opponent.
Hall stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. McLarnin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hall wants to clinch but McLarnin slips to the side and McLarnin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hall won't be happy with that. Hall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McLarnin can do to turn this around? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hall is trying to get back to half guard. McLarnin goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hall rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McLarnin's guard! Nice work there by Hall! Jimmy McLarnin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. McLarnin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hall defends it easily. Hall sitting in guard, not really doing much. Justin Hall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hall's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McLarnin can't keep his opponent in guard - Hall advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hall seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. McLarnin pushes Hall off looking to stand but Hall dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hall is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. McLarnin with the active half guard here but Hall passes nicely into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Justin Hall showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hall, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
