The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Kukko misses. Kukko listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. O'Sullivan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. O'Sullivan seems to be working for a kimura but Kukko defends the submission attempt. Kukko's coaches at Heart Cave (8 elites, 4 double-elites, 1 triple) have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Kukko fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt O'Sullivan. O'Sullivan throws a shot from downtown. Kukko moves away and avoids it. Kukko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

O'Sullivan misses with a wild body shot. Kukko tried to counter with a leg kick but O'Sullivan avoided it. Nice sprawl there from O'Sullivan as Kukko shoots in. O'Sullivan moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kukko tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kukko, as that shot connected.
Kukko shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. O'Sullivan connects with a body shot that sends Kukko's belly button to the back. Kukko is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
O'Sullivan throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kukko. Kukko bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps O'Sullivan's head backwards.

and O'Sullivan counters with a thumping low kick. Kukko takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. O'Sullivan throws a predictable looking body shot

O'Sullivan flicks out a counter leg kick but Kukko steps away. Kukko throws a right and a left that O'Sullivan avoids nicely. Kukko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. O'Sullivan lands with a right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A solid leg kick lands there for O'Sullivan.

And that's the end of the fight! Daniel O'Sullivan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well O'Sullivan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Daniel O'Sullivan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
