Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack Gripper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rob Bobbins!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gripper connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.


It looks like Rob Bobbins has been cut.
Bobbins takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jack Gripper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gripper throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gripper lands a nice looking body shot.
Gripper stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gripper wants it to stay on the feet.
Bobbins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gripper tries to avoid it but Bobbins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gripper to the ground. Gripper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gripper scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Gripper scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bobbins doesn't seem bothered though.
Gripper throws the left hand but Bobbins avoids the punch easily.
Bobbins on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A jab from Gripper finds it's way through Bobbins's defenses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gripper scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bobbins doesn't seem bothered though.
Bobbins looks winded!
Gripper avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gripper circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gripper scores with a sloppy right hand. Bobbins should have avoided that one.
Gripper changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gripper bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bobbins's head backwards.


Bobbins is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bobbins walks straight into a right hand from Gripper - that's dropped him! Gripper jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bobbins from any more punishment! Bobbins complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jack Gripper!
