Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hank Henry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Przemek Karski! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karski looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Henry! Henry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karski on the ground. Karski working for a submission but Henry is keeping him at bay. Karski unloads with some shots from mount but Henry bucks and avoids them well.
Karski thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Henry is working to get back to half guard.
Karski goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Henry turns into him and now he's in Karski's guard.
Henry wants to stand but Karski is controlling his posture from full guard. Henry controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henry stopping the sweep attempt from Karski. Karski looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Henry passes into side control.
Henry lands an elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Karski is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Henry decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The fight moves into the clinch position. Karski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Henry just stands there and leans against the cage. Karski tries to pull guard but Henry won't allow it.
Karski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Henry smiles and moves away.
Hank Henry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Przemek Karski. Nice takedown defense from Henry. No joy for Karski on that attempt. Karski looks gassed! Karski takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Henry misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karski avoids the body shot from Henry.
A good leg kick by Henry. Henry goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Henry scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Henry moves into range and clinches up with Karski. Karski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Henry walks away with a smile on his face. Karski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Henry shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Karski's guard. Karski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Henry can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Henry pushing down on Karski's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Karski tries to get to full guard but Henry has control of the leg. Henry seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Karski blocks a leg kick. Henry tries to clinch up but Karski circles away and keeps his distance. Karski doesn't succeed with the takedown and Henry makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Karski really felt that one! Henry shoots and misses and Karski counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Henry! Henry is trying to stand up. Henry suckers Karski into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Henry is now in Karski's guard!

That's one minute gone in the round. Henry keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Karski is breathing heavily. Henry lands with a punch from half guard. Karski is looking to improve his position.
Henry takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Karski flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Henry looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Karski looking for submissions off his back. Henry is pressing down on Karski's thigh, looking to free his foot. Karski is holding on for now. Henry is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Karski defends it well. Karski looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Henry tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Henry throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Karski misses with a takedown attempt and Henry makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Henry lands a head shot. Henry throws a right and a left that Karski avoids nicely. Henry scores with a takedown into Karski's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Henry slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Karski has an active guard here but Henry has managed to pass into half guard.

Hank Henry dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Henry throws a sloppy head kick and Karski moves out of range easily. Henry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hank Henry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Excellent takedown into side control there by Henry. Karski tries to bench press Henry off him but Henry keeps the position. Karski is trying to escape the position but Henry is controlling the position. Karski is looking for a sweep. Karski is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Henry off and has taken his back! Henry is in a bad position with Karski working for a choke. Henry manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
