Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donald Chartier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Ramsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chartier comes into the arena with Disturbed - Stricken blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chartier lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ramsey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ramsey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Chartier throws the left hand but Ramsey avoids the punch easily.
Chartier tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ramsey was well out of range. Poor timing from Chartier.

and Ramsey counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ramsey pivots, looking for a leg kick but Chartier is out of range and Ramsey settles back down.

and Chartier decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ramsey's guard.
Chartier is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Ramsey wants to control the position but Chartier says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Ramsey is trying to maintain the position but Chartier is very close to passing his half guard.
Ramsey manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Chartier keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

and Ramsey makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ramsey drops his hands momentarily. Chartier doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ramsey staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ramsey doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
